Maurinstarr is a Danish producer, DJ, and co-founder of the label Vile Immerse. A driving voice in the new wave of Scandinavian electronic music, his sound merges the raw intensity of psytrance and prog with the relentless pulse of techno. With a distinct sonic signature, Maurinstarr crafts immersive sets that stretch the boundaries of the dancefloor experience.

His musical journey has brought him to a wide range of clubs and festivals around the world — from underground events in Berlin, Munich, and Copenhagen, to tours in Australia (notably Woodburnia Festival) and the United States, where he played in San Francisco, Portland, Philadelphia, and at Bossa Nova Civic Club in New York City.

Maurinstarr is a seasoned DJ, and summer 2025 marks his debut live performance at the darkpsy-oriented Absalons Have Festival.

He has released music on several respected underground labels including Terenor Records, In Orbit, Alliance Club, and FetidGruppe. Most recently, he collaborated with Alda Vain and Limongelli on the conceptual 10-track album Circuit Veil, released under multiple aliases via Vile Immerse.
